Doernbecher Freestyle

Doernbecher Freestyle is a heartwarming program uniting patients from Doernbecher Children's Hospital with Nike employees to co-create an extraordinary collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories. These unique collections are auctioned and sold at retail, with all proceeds going back to the hospital. For this collection, the Nike team and I worked with talented patient designer, Jaren Heacock.

With a goal to raise funds for the hospital, Doernbecher Freestyle collections are auctioned and later made available for retail. At the auction, a surprise second colorway was unveiled exclusively for Jaren and the highest bidder, adding a touch of uniqueness to the collection. The auction successfully raised a remarkable one million dollars for Doernbecher Children's Hospital, contributing to a grand total of over 30 million dollars raised.
